Second Chance started in 2009 an important project ment to support education of kids throught sports. This became a very famous project because of the great results of our children on national level at badminton.
Second Chance supports the Berceni badminton team through the donation of equipment and uniforms, and through funding the team's training and travels around Romania to participate in matches. The team, which won the national championship in 2007, has had an extraordinary influence on the players, widening their horizons and encouraging them to strive for success. In 2009, the team boasted two national champions, Andrea Muscalu, age 9, and Alexandru Muscalu (no relation), age 12. The team also organizes an annual tournament, Cupa Tino Ferrario, in Ploiesti.
